So nice to hear from you. I just recenlty logged back on to this site after a few months. Yes I do think about India. I went to Prabha's web page a few days ago and saw the pictures of the kids dance performance in London and still recognized all of their faces, a surreal moment. And i agree with you, one of the best parts of India was the group we traveled with. Sounds like fun in snow wonderland. Thats one of the thinkgs i miss about the midwest, the snowmobiles...California is still warm but at least we are over the fires. Soo nice to hear from you...

Yea! I really don't understand this website very well, I must admit. Glad you could upload photos, though. Hopefully sometime I can see the ones of me and the kids. My Kundalini classes are going very well; now have about 20 regular students who seem to show up at class in increments of 6-10 at a time. Tonight, I'll be going to a toga party with some new Romanian girlfriends of mine. (They missed the American sororities, I guess....)
Hope you are doing well. Maybe sometime I can come to Michigan and see you. I've never been there, except for some dunes that were about 3 miles from the Indiana border.
Sat Nam,
hari datti

Thanks for writing, Sue. I would love to have the photos. Do you think you could send them to dianeh@lilly.com? If you only have a few send to dianthoma@hotmail.com. The first work address has greater bandwidth, but sometimes they go to a spam filter and I have to let them out....!
I'm glad you got to see other parts of India. How was it for you?

Hi Sue Ellen,
Nice to hear from you. The days are not long enough with all that is going on. You know when you own a small business. We are getting lots of tourists and having a strong season so far. Trying to keep it that way. My sons, David and Ryan are working full time here summer. Hard to look ahead, but I hope to take a trip in November and one again in Feb/Mar. Also hope to get away to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia for a few days here and there. I have not heard from anyone else from the TRIP other than Mariana and Sally.
If you get a chance to bike over to Maine, let me know and love to show you and 'your husband around. Its a lot cooler at the coast here.
Take care,
Brewster

Dear Sue Ellen:
GREAT to hear from you online! HURRAH! You got it! Thanks so much for your lovely note. It's actually so nice to get REAL mail, as opposed to e-mail, when time doesn't really make any difference....love getting that note out of the post box. My little nephews and neices in Ireland exchange snail mail notes w/ me, and i always love reaching in and getting them. Otherwise, it's 99% junk mail these days - or a bill!
I have been meaning to drop you a line and still intend to do so - so watch your mailbox!
I was thinking of going to the gala, but I had friends coming into town from Mpls that weekend, so I did not go.
The kids at the orphanage got the books I planned to have shipped beforehand and was worried after Prabha's post office story about having them disappear, but she assured me they arrived.
I completely agree with you about the folks on our trip. What a terrific group of people! I hope you are well....Eve

When people ask me about my trip to India, they want to know what was the best part of the trip. My answer is very easy, it was the nineteen people I traveled with from AFC. Yes, there were many other best parts, but making nineteen new friends with the outstanding qualities these people came with was just fantastic. The diversity among us just in age, what parts of the country we came from, education and life styles was so comfortable for me. Thank You
