Ambassadors for Children has created this website so that volunteers, host sites and prospective travellers can share stories, photos, videos, questions and ideas about travel with AFC. It's easy!

Here's how to get started:

Register. If you haven't registered, click on the yellow box at the right and follow the easy step-by-step process.

Join a group. We've created a group for each AFC travel destination. Join a group by clicking on the "group" tab at the top of this page and then on the name of your travel destination or on the appropriate travel destination below. At the left of the group page you'll see an invitation to join this group.

Contribute. By registering, you'll now become a member and will receive your personal "page." On this page you can blog, post photos or videos...and create your personalized expression of your travel experiences.
*To add photos: You'll see a photo box on the left on your page. Click on "add a photo" and you'll be asked to browse your hard drive to upload photos.
*When you upload a photo, you'll be prompted with options for describing that photo. It'd be good if you included the travel destination as a "tag". That way, people can click on the tag word and all the photos related to that destination will appear.
*You can always edit your photo and its information by clicking on it.
*If you want to look at other people's photos, click on their name. Browse through their photos. If you see one you like, right click on it and you'll be able to save it.
*Share your impressions: In the middle of the page you'll see an invitation to write a blog. Just click and away you go!

Discuss. Do you have questions, ideas or experiences you'd like to share with others? Click on the forum tab on the top of the page or go to your group page if it's destination specific. Then either join a discussion that is listed there, or click on "start a new discussion" to start your own topic.

This is a site for browsing. So click freely and explore! It's like traveling without leaving home!
